I was super excited to visit this piece at A/D/O in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Little did I know it would be the last time.
Right before school started this semester, my friends and I had a day in Brooklyn visiting and eating everywhere we could spending every minute of our freedom left before returning to architecture life. We vintaged shopped in Williamsburg, eat at Win Son, got donuts, visited A/D/O, and had pho. It was a lovely day, not too cold but really windy.
Now, due to COVID-19, A/D/O is closed permanently. They were not able to keep making payments for the space so the entire building shut down for good. This exhibit space was just opened about two years ago bringing wonderful installations to Brooklyn and fun work spaces and parties to the community. I am still upset this place is gone as I frequented it about once a month. These are only a few shots of the space. It was quite large and accommodating of different stores and functions inside.
I hope they reopen in the future.
