The weather was unusually warm in January this year.
I loved being outside in a nice coat and not be freezing! I went out everyday of the week to shoot photos. I took the bus to DUMBO and decided to hang out and watch the sunset, taking photos of course. The sunset was very dark and blue, which accentuated the blue tones in my outfit.
I just bought this And Other Stories coat on sale and I loved the pattern. I thought it would be a nice stand out coat. It is long with buttons and a waist belt that can be removed. I decided to keep my outfit monotone, like I have been lately, and continue with the blue in my jeans and my bag.
I bought this bag in Milan 2016 while on study abroad. I saved up all my money for like over a year to buy this. It was so worth it. I also recommend going to Europe to buy designer bags as they are slightly cheaper than in the US and you get the tax return. This bag was very trendy at the time with so many Instagram bloggers flaunting the bag. Now, it seems a little dated, but I do not care. This bag as a lot of memories for me. I love how it is called the Dionysus Bag, referring to the Greek god/ or Roman god of wine. The hand painted blue florals on the flap give the bag more of an eclectic look that is iconic of Gucci. The blue suede interior is absolutely gorgeous. I am always so careful with this bag when I use it so I do not mess up the suede. Overall, it is a fairly durable bag. If I was going to invest in Gucci, I had to get something popular and iconic that I could look back and remember why I love every single detail so much. I linked the exact same bag below that is second hand from Fashionphile. It is a good price and in great condition!
