This was another look from January where I was continuing my architectural photoshoots.
This building is not particularly special, but it reminded me of a late Renaissance style facade, obviously, an updated style. This building is the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. I originally wanted to take photos in front of the huge, iron gate door but there were tours going on and I did not want to seem like a nuisance.
For my outfit, I opted for another monotone look, this time with beiges and browns. My pop of color is the red bucket bag and my orange eyeshadow and earrings. It was another cloudy day so the tones in the photo are quite moody. Almost as if I am blending into the background with my outfit. The red really stands out in this lighting.
This was a short visit. I really just wanted to get out of the apartment for an hour, so why not take some outfit photos. I went straight back home after this. The Financial District was really busy and full of people. It always makes me nervous to be in that area. I’m not sure why really. Maybe it is because the World Trade Center is nearby, or maybe I just hate crowds of people. Either way, I don’t hang around for too long.
