If you live in NYC or anywhere nearby, you should definitely make a trip to the Whitney Museum to check out the Andy Warhol exhibit, From A To B And Back Again, and the Calvin Klein x Andy Warhol merch in the gift shop (Get your tickets online to skip the long lines, exhibit ends March 31, 2019!). The exhibit shows you a personal look at Andy Warhol’s life and who he was friends with along with some personal items and sketches he made during his lifetime. I thoroughly enjoyed myself wandering around each floor and once I made my way down to the gift shop I spotted this tri-bag crossbody/clutch that is from the Calvin Klein collab with Raf Simmons and it was only $80!! I was shocked it would even be sold under $100 and since my mom already wanted something from this exhibit I decided why not! It is one of the coolest things to wear and it will be a collectors item one day, so it was definitely an investment. The clutch disconnect to become separate bags and the strap is adjustable and can be taken off. I thought it was an unusual type of crossbody, but very fashion forward!
For my outfit, I shopped in the mens section again at COS because I couldn’t resist this adorable rainbow flecked sweater and the one I wanted from UNIQLO was sold out so why not a men’s sweater?? I love it because it’s chunkier and a different fit from my women’s sweaters. To bring out the brighter colors in the sweater and in the bag, I paired this look with my pink corduroy pants. Corduroy is perfect for winter because it keeps your legs warm. For accessories, I chose these pink disk earrings from Shop Machete, they are fun, geometric and went along with my color palette.
Have fun at the exhibit!!
