It has been awhile since I have made a post on here because this week was jam-packed full of activities, meetings, parties, and events I had to attend. Plus, it’s Halloween! But yesterday, my studio and I went on a field trip to Houston to survey the site area that our fashion pavilion will be built on. The location is in the Galleria and we have two spots to choose from, one area is in the parking lot in front of Neiman Marcus, and the other area is across the street where the Starbucks is situated  (we would take out the Starbucks). So, we have a choice on what location we want, which is awesome. The project is near finishing in about three weeks so, I hope to show you guys the end result.

After visiting the site, my friends and I had some free time go around Houston and do as we please. We shopped at the Galleria Mall (I bought a bag full of Zara clothing and metallic shoes), ate lunch at Benihana, and hung out at a coffee shop in downtown Houston called Tout Suite, which is where I took these photos. The atmosphere at this coffee shop was perfect! It was this urban industrial space accentuated with modern, contemporary furniture and accessories. The food and coffee was amazing (they had Macarons!!!). The location of the place was in an odd, under-developed area of downtown Houston, but the theme fit the area and it is across the way from Minute Maid park. I definitely recommend this place, if you are ever in Houston and in need of a chic place to hang out.

Until next time,
