Next fall 2016, I will be going on study abroad for my architectural studies in Italy. I still have one year to go, but I am too excited to relive the beautiful scenery, gelato, pasta, and Italian lifestyle. FYI the best gelato you will ever eat in Italy is at the Trevi Fountain (it is to the left, if you are facing the fountain). So, here are a few pictures of my previous adventure in Italy from July 2013.
My family and I know someone who is from Italy and has family there, so we asked him to hook us up with places to stay. We wanted to see the major Italian cities and vistas all in one vacation. We spent four days in Rome, two days in Florence/Pisa, three days in Venice, four days in Positano/Capri, and two more days in Rome to make it a total of about two weeks of vacation. My father rented a car and off we went! I was in charge of navigating us from city to city. After a few crazy experiences, I believe I have a good understanding of where everything is. To be honest, I think the best way to see and experience a foreign country is to travel it yourself, not by tour bus. It might be scary to some, but it is totally worth it.
I hope to get the chance to visit Milan, Bologna, Siena, and more!
Arrivederci! Ciao! A presto!
